Read MoreWHEW> What a looong day. And it doesn’t help that I am a night owl and stay up way too late 🙂 HUGE thank you to Mi Churros who graciously allowed me to be in her booth today to raise funds for All Paws Rescue Brampton. Together we raised just over $200 for All Paws! Remember, when you buy a mask, you get free mini churros! You can find us *right* under the giant Garden Square sign beside Starbucks! And NEXT WEEK: I will be returning next weekend to BOTH…
Read MoreI’ve said it before and I’ll say it again….infinity scarves are a HOT item right now. In fact I’m surprised it took us all so long to catch on; living through a Canadian winter you practically wrap a sleeping bag around your head to keep warm…(not really) but a circular scarf with no end that you wrap and wrap…with no ends flapping around…genius!! I have an Etsy Shop WonderbunnieDesigns, and I have had a heck of a time keeping it stocked with scarves. They are all knitted by me, with…
Read MoreSo many moons ago I had a small pop up shoppe at a few local historial shows. My booth was “Madame Fifi’s Froufrous” and we sold bloomers, parasols, fans, etc. I have had these bloomers kicking around for awhile begging to be put up on Etsy. And so today, I did! Mini photoshoot in my kitchen; here’s some Behind-The-Scenes sillyness for your Friday. (The whole time I was thinking…gee I hope no neighbours can see in through my windows watching me trying to do silly things whilst photo-taking, in my…

Read MoreSanta Is A Scary Dude Current mood: warm So yeah, as an actor I do all sorts of weird & wacky & wonderful gigs. The last coupla Saturdays, I’ve been Elfina, one of Santa’s little helpers. And, as I’ve watched and witnessed many little wide eyed children meeting Santa for The First Time… I’ve realized, that Santa is Scary. Seeing Santa is sort of an unspoken rite of passage for kids. Goin’ up there, letting go of mom or dad, and sitting on his knee is a Big Deal.Showing the world…
Read MoreTuesday, April 22, 2008 Oh my beautiful Fredfred Current mood: listless I remember the first time I ever saw you.I was 19 and home for Thanksgiving with two of my friends; we’d gone to the local mall to bum around and just kill time. The last stop we made was to the old Elgin Pet store; almost an afterthought of a store with a stack of cages at the back. You were so little and so ugly! I remember looking at the cages; all of them were empty, except for you.…
Read MoreTuesday, May 08, 2007 Whee. Home again I’ve just returned from a 10 day tour doin’ a Circus show across the Canadian West. For those of you that know me, you’ll know my love of taking signs (as in, store signs, etc) literally. Until now, my all time favourite signs were: London, On – “Childrens’ Photography The Spay & Neuter Clinic” (Two signs that shoulda had a space in between them) and Hammond, LA – The PMS Day Spa (Pamper Me Silly Day Spa) & don’t forget: The HandJob Car Wash.…
Read MoreSunday, December 30, 2007 Of Course. Scrooge is a Duck. Current mood: accomplished Wow. I can’t beleive that 2007 is over already! I had a great Christmas; had my Mom & one of my brothers come to visit. It was a bit hectic, but worth every moment. I love Christmas. I love everything about it; the happiness, friends & family, the food, the feelings, giving gifts, and yes the Sparkliness of Christmas just makes me happy. So every year for the past bit I’ve done the Christmas Panto at Casa Loma here…
Read MoreWednesday, December 20, 2006 Kids say the darndest things So I’m doing this kids’ Panto this year at Casa Loma here in Toronto this Christmas. It’s Peter Pan and it’s a lot of fun. It’s heavy duty; with costume changes, music and a really neat set. 5 shows a day, with around 600 kids a day. It’s also very interactive, with call and answer, booing and yaying. Aimed at 3-10 year olds; there’s also a lot of stuff in it for the parents as well. The show begins with The…
